This was the largest artwork that he had made. and also the first one he had signed. Noticing the background of the painting is all one color it is warmer colors that is noticabke but does not draw all the attention to the one part of the painting. The main part of the artpiece is on the people. You notice the brighter colors on the people because it is the main focus of the painting. The brightest color is on the man leaning of the body and the body laying on the floor which is the

Kevin grew up in an all white neighborhood, and many times saw Native Americans being treated poorly and being beaten, Kevin could not understand how his family were "Catholics " but yet could support the segregation and see blacks get treated as though they were not human. When Kevin grew up he began capturing pictures of blacks being mistreated these photos were beginning to be talked about by a lot of people he realized that what he was doing could do some good.  In the photo below you may think this isn't art it's just a picture.
