This was the largest artwork that he had made. and also the first one he had signed. Noticing the background of the painting is all one color it is warmer colors that is noticabke but does not draw all the attention to the one part of the painting. The main part of the artpiece is on the people. You notice the brighter colors on the people because it is the main focus of the painting. The brightest color is on the man leaning of the body and the body laying on the floor which is the

http://100photos.time.com/photos/kevin-carter-starving-child-vulture The Starving Child and Vulture by Kevin Carter made in 1993. Kevin Carter was a south African photojournalists. Kevin grew up in an all white neighborhood, and many times saw Native Americans being treated poorly and being beaten, Kevin could not understand how his family were "Catholics " but yet could support the segregation and see blacks get treated as though they were not human. When Kevin grew up he began capturing pictures of blacks being mistreated these photos were beginning to be talked about by a lot of people he realized that what he was doing could do some good.  In the photo below you may think this isn't art it's just a picture. But photographs are art they connect to those in a way in painting can be interpreted. Carter took this picture to capture the struggle of a young Native American. Module 3 artwork Analysis.  https://www.artsy.net/article/artsy-editorial-probing-gustave-courbets-inner-thoughts-the-desperate-man This beautiful piece of art work is by Gustave Courbets made in the years 1843-45. This piece is explained to show a tortured man struggling for recognition and a bite to eat. While first looking at the piece the first thing that comes to eye is the way the man is looking straight at the viewers, in a worried some wide eyed look. Making the viewer think he is desperately looking for something he needs. Also what comes to eye is how he is grabbing his hair, in arts you may think the artist is just portraying the man running his hands through his hair, but in this piece you can see how in his arms the veins are popping out of his arms as though he is actually gripping the hair and pulling on it, in a stressed way. You can also see his clothes, they aren't exactly super messy, but they are not super nice. He is in some struggle with the way his clothes ar

Module 2 Artwork Analysis   Leonid Afremov CALM SEA oil painting. https://images.app.goo.gl/CoWvi2Qs3m3GHqrp7 This artwork, is a painting of the sea during a sunset, a sail boat near the rocks that maybe getting ready to anchor boat and leave the sea for the day. In this art piece there is many detailed textured in this piece. The reflection of the sunset of the water is very shiny and detailed being a big part of the painting it seems more focused on the sunset. The dark colors around the sunset bring out the brightness of the water and sunset reflection. I believe the meaning of this artwork is how beautiful and calming the sea can be especially at certain times. The beautiful reflections on the sea can make things seem even more eye popping to people. The sail boat in the sea is detailed enough to where you can see it but has a lot of dark colors making it more in the background of the art, but making it look more as if you want to notice it to know you are looking more at the brigh
